Price and McKell garner All-Ohio accolades

Muskingum women's soccer senior midfielder Morgan Price and junior defender Lauren McKell were honored by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association by being named All-Ohio.

Price, a two-year captain, was selected First Team Academic All-Ohio and Third Team All-Ohio. She is only the second Muskie in the history of the program to be named First Team Academic All-Ohio and the eighth player to be named All-Ohio. Price led the Muskie attack this season with four goals and two assists. She ended the season with 41 shots and started all 18 games for Muskingum. The senior finished her career ranked sixth all-time at Muskingum in career points with 38, seventh in career goals with 13 and tied for seventh in career assists with 12. Price, an early childhood education major, is also a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection and Academic All-OAC honoree.

McKell, an athletic training major, was named Third Team Academic All-Ohio. She is the 29th Muskie to be recognized with the honor. McKell played in all 18 contests, with 17 starts. Her strong defensive presence helped the Muskies log two shutouts. 

The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association is one of the oldest and most prestigious college soccer associations in the nation. The OCSA represents all National Collegiate Athletic Association divisions (NCAA), all National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics divisions (NAIA) and all National Junior College Athletic Association divisions (NJCAA) in Ohio.
