The Muskingum women's soccer team played a strong opening 45 minutes before Mount Union was able to gain the momentum in the second half en route to a 4-0 win on Wednesday evening.

How It Happened
- Mount Union struck early in the second minute on a tally by Kelsey Malenic.
- The Muskies responded to the early deficit and held the Purple Raiders scoreless for the remainder of the half.
- Mount Union used three second half goals to pull away from the Muskies.
- Freshman Emily Wiley led the team with three shots, including two on frame.
- Senior Hailey Dickey added a pair of strikes.
- Sophomore Miranda Bishop and senior Kelsey Overley each logged one shot.
Between The Pipes
- Freshman Heather Maxwell started the game and allowed one goal before exiting the contest with an injury. Junior Liz Mitchell played the final 70 minutes and logged a career-high 16 saves and allowed three goals.
- Alexis Crawford logged 90 minutes in frame and made four saves to garner the shutout.
