Despite senior captain Hailey Dickey's two-goal effort, Muskingum fell short in a tough 4-2 home loss against Oberlin on Wednesday night in McConagha Stadium.

How It Happened
- Oberlin grabbed a quick 2-0 lead with back-to-back goals in a one-plus minute span in the 14th and 15th minutes of play. Taylor French tallied the first goal and Josie Marshall added the second strike.
- Muskingum trimmed its deficit to 2-1 on senior captain Hailey Dickey's goal in the 33rd minute.
- The Yeowomen quickly responded with a goal 45 seconds later by Caroline Oehlerich to take a 3-1 edge.
- Dickey added her second goal of the night and third of the season with a strike in the 42nd minute to send the Muskies into the break trailing 3-2.
- Oberlin sealed the road win with a goal in the 53rd minute by Gwennie Gardiner.
- The Yeowomen ended the outing with a 12-8 advantage in shots and 4-3 nod in corner kicks.
- Sophomore Natalie O'Dell helped lead the Muskie effort with a pair of shots.
Between The Pipes
- Junior Liz Mitchell played all 90 minutes in frame for Muskingum and made three saves and allowed four goals.
- Jordyn Morris played the entire game in frame for Oberlin and made two saves and allowed two goals.
