The Muskingum wrestling team defeated Waynesburg on the road in non-conference action on Wednesday night, 22-19.

  • Freshman Noah Houchins (125) opened the match with a forfeit win.
  • In the 141-weight class, senior Cooper Hemming earned his sixth win of the season, pinning Waynesburg's Esdras Castillo in 0:42 seconds.
  • At the 149-weight class, junior Tanner Donathan won by a 3-2 decision over Waynesburg's Alex Coppolo. Donathan moves to six wins on the season.
  • Senior Carter Layton dominated Riley Bosley in the 165-weight class, winning a 12-1 major decision.
  • Junior Noah DeHainaut earned his ninth win of the season, defeating Justice McCamick in an intense 197-weight class battle by a 3-2 decision. 
  • Dehainaut's win secured a Muskie victory.
