The Ohio Athletic Conference honored Muskingum senior Jordan Burkholder for his oustanding performances at the Waynesburg Tournament by naming him the OAC Wrestler of the Week.
Burkholder ended the tournament with a perfect 3-0 record in the 125-pound class. He started with a fall against Jesse Pitoni of Alfred State at the four-minute mark. Burkholder then notched a fall at the 1:48 juncture against Emanuel Dovshek of Washington & Jefferson. He completed the competition with a 10-3 decision against Colton Messick of Apprentice.
Muskingum next hosts Thomas More on Thursday, January 10. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
