Muskingum senior wrestler Jordan Burkholder was ranked seventh in the latest InterMat Division III ranking for the 125-pound weight class.
Burkholder is currently 14-0 with five technical falls, two pins, and two major decisions. His impressive start to the season has included winning the 125-pound bracket championship at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational and the Ohio Northern Invitational. At Washington & Jefferson, Burkholder posted a 6-0 mark en route to the championship. At Ohio Northern, Burkholder recorded a 5-0 slate which included wins in the semifinals and finals against Ohio Athletic Conference opponents.
Burkholder will hit the mat next at the Waynesburg Invitational on Saturday, January 5. Burkholder and the Muskies will make their home debut on Thursday, January 10, when Thomas More travels to New Concord.
