Muskingum sophomore Jordan Burkholder led the wrestling team at the NCAA Regional hosted by York on Saturday.

The Basics 

• Results: Muskingum finished 17th in the 19-team field.
• Location: York, Pa. - York College 

On the Mat

• Burkholder posted a 2-2 record in the 125-pound weight bracket to lead the Muskies. He opened the day with a win via fall over Andrew Flanagan. After falling to Jonathan Haas by major decision, Burkholder bounced back defeating Jack Delduca. The sophomore dropped his final match against Chris Doyle by decision. 
• Sophomore Tanner Walker went 2-2 overall on the day recording both wins via technical fall over Jakub Kielb and Daniel Jerrems.
• In the 184-pound bracket, junior Anthony Cole-Young also finished 2-2 overall. The junior defeated Jacob Brook by way of decision and posted a win by pin against Kyle Beard.
