Women’s Lacrosse falls at St. Vincent

The Muskingum University women's lacrosse team fell on the road to St. Vincent Tuesday evening, 23-11.

Game Highlights

  • St. Vincent took command of the game early on as they held a 7-1 lead eight minutes into the first half. Muskingum then tallied three straight goals, two from Kaeleigh Norvet and one from Ashley Adams, to cut St. Vincent's lead down to, 7-4. The Bearcats finished the half by outscoring the Muskies 5-2 to hold the 12-6 advantage at intermission. The hosts maintained the momentum in the second half by rattling off 11 goals to seal the victory.

  • Kaeleigh Norvet paced the Muskies offense with five goals.
  • Ashley Adams added three goals and finished with a team-high four ground balls.
  • Courtney Hines chipped in two goals.
  • Paige Watterman dished out a team-high two assists, while adding one goal.
