The Muskingum women's lacrosse team slipped at Ohio Athletic Conference foe Otterbein on Wednesday, 16-8.

  • Junior Kaeleigh Norvet led the Muskie attack with a career-high five goals.
  • Junior Sydni Uhrig added two goals, while junior Ashley Adams netted one goal.
  • As a team, Muskingum recorded eight goals on 16 shots.
  • In frame, junior Kate Shamel surrendered 16 goals, making a game-high 15 saves.
  • The Cardinals were led by Katy Williams tying a game-high five goals.
  • Otterbein fired 33 shots and collected 27 ground balls in the contest.
  • Tasha Williams claimed the win for the Cardinals making four saves. 
  • Norvet recorded three goals over a four-minute span to give Muskingum the early 3-0 advantage. 
  • The Muskies continued to dominate early as they netted two more goals with 23:45 remaining in the first half, extending their lead to 5-1.
  • Otterbein rallied scoring eight goals in the final 19 minutes of the first half to claim the 9-7 advantage.
  • The Cardinals continued to fire on all cylinders in the second half as they tacked on seven more goals en route to the win.
