The Muskingum women's golf team opened its fall season at the Denison Lynn Schweizer Invitational on Saturday-Sunday. The event was played at the Denison Golf Club at Granville.
The Muskies ended the two-day event in 11th place with a team score of 857 (419-438). Freshman Ericka Marano led Muskingum finishing tied for 56th in the 68-golfer field. She shot a 198 (98-100).
Freshman Abigail Sutton finished 63rd with a 210 (98-112), while freshman MacKenzie Garber placed tied for 64th with a 218 (106-112).
Junior Sara Lowman rounded out the Muskie scoring with a 231 (117-114).
DePauw won the team title with a score of 614 (311-304) and Rachele Miller from DePauw won medalist honors with a 148 (76-72).
Muskingum next competes at the Mount Union Fall Invitational at Tannehauf Golf Course on Sunday, September 9.
