DeMassimo Duo leads Women’s Basketball vs. Marietta

Freshman Caitlyn DeMassimo had a career and game-high 19 points, while sophomore Taylor DeMassimo tallied 15 points to lead Muskingum against Marietta on Wednesday night. The Pioneers defeated the Muskies, 91-73.

How it Happened

  • After a Pioneer 45-37 first half, Muskingum trimmed down the Marietta lead to two with 6:09 remaining in the third quarter.
  • The Muskies used a 19-16 advantage in the third quarter to draw within five of the Pioneers heading into the final period.
  • Marietta erupted on a 30-point final period to ensure a 91-73 victory.
