For the first time this season, the Muskingum softball team received four votes in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Top 25 Poll. The NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll is selected by eight NCAA Division III head coaches representing the eight NCAA regions.

As a team, they are tallying a .365 batting average, .505 slugging percentage, .407 on base percentage, and .952 fielding percentage.

Junior Krissy Hughes has been outstanding from the plate as she is leading the team and Ohio Athletic Conference in batting average (.571), while notching 23 runs on 36 hits, 19 RBIs, nine doubles, four triples, and two home runs.

In the circle, freshman Hannah Duff has an 8-1 record in 45.1 innings of work, 18 strikeouts, and a 1.39 ERA, while junior Rachel Eberling holds a 7-1 record in 54.1 innings of work, 34 strikeouts, and a 3.48 ERA.
