Kendra Averesch enters her second year as assistant coach for the Muskingum cross country and track and field teams.

Averesch, a former track and field standout at the University of Findlay, was a four-time NCAA All-American in the shot put and an All-American honoree in the hammer throw. She holds the third longest throw in NCAA Division II history in the shot put with her mark of 54-10 and is the school record holder at Findlay in the event. Averesch was the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion in the shot put and was a two-time USA championship qualifier.

In the classroom, Averesch earned All-Academic accolades every semester at Findlay.

Averesch graduated from Findlay in 2015 with a degree in strength and conditioning.
