The Muskingum men's outdoor track and field team competed at the OAC Elite Meet on Saturday evening.
The Basics
- Location: Otterbein University - Westerville, OH
Notables
- The Muskies finished tenth.
- Muskingum logged a team total of 28.
- Mount Union finished in first with 226 total points.
On The Track
- Freshman Hasson Williams finished eighth in the 110-meter hurdles with a mark of 15.56.
- The 4x100-meter team of freshman Samuel Paydock, freshman Julian Anderson, freshman Tyrel James, and freshman Jakai Smith notched seventh with a time of 45.82.
In The Field
- Anderson guided the Muskies in the long jump with a fifth place finish earning a mark of 6.37 meters. James finished in eighth with a distance of 6.26 meters.
- Anderson also led the Muskies in the triple jump with a fourth place finish notching a score of 12.27 meters. James secured fifth with a mark of 12.22 meters, while Smith finished right behind him in sixth with a distance of 12.19 meters.
- Freshman Logan Wickham placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 13.49 meters.
- Sophomore Daniel Odette-Spillner finished eighth in the discuss throw with a score of 38.69 meters.
- Senior Kevin Dreyer placed sixth in the javelin throw with a distance of 43.89 meters and senior Adam Fox finished behind him in seventh with a mark of 41.92 meters.
