Men’s Outdoor track & field secures fifth at Don Frail Invite

The Muskingum men's outdoor track and field team secured fifth in the seven-team field at the Don Frail Invite on Saturday.

  • Location: Marietta, Ohio – Don Drumm Stadium 
  • Charleston finished first with a total of 115 points.
  • Muskingum notched 50 points.

  • Sophomore Robert Reicher logged a shot put distance of 14.83 meters, finishing second.
  • Senior Wade Floyd locked in fourth in shot put with a mark of 11.35 meters.
  • Reicher also secured second in men's discus (40.01 meters) and finished second in hammer toss (46.55 meters).
  • Floyd notched third in discus with a distance of 39.24 meters.
  • Freshman Eric Johnson registered fourth in hammer toss with a mark of 33.90 meters.
  • Junior Gino Carey rounded out scoring for the Muskies finishing third in javelin with a distance of 42.62 meters.

  • The Muskies next travel to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the OAC Championships on Friday, April 26. Start time is slated for 12:00 p.m.
