Men's Outdoor Track & Field secures 2nd at Muskingum Invitational

The Muskingum men's outdoor track and field team secured second in the six-team field at the Muskingum Invitational this weekend. 

  • Location: New Concord, Ohio - Johnson Family Track

  • The Muskies notched a total of 60 points.
  • Junior Adam Fox guided the Muskies finishing 4th overall in the All-Ohio Combined event with a total of 5,251 points. Fox took first in pole vault with an impressive mark of 4.24 meters. He finished third in high jump (1.76 meters) and notched fourth in javelin (37.00 meters). Fox secured fifth in the 100-meter dash (11.81), long jump (6.04 meters), shot put (9.86 meters), discus (22.64 meters), and the 1500-meter run (5:30.20). He rounded out his efforts finishing sixth in the 400-meter dash (58.13) and 110-meter hurdles (17.10). 

  • Freshman Aaron Johnston finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.55.
  • Junior Logan Skolosh took first in the 400-meter dash with a final time of 53.16.
  • Junior Doug McIntire secured second in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:05.74.
  • Senior Zachary Fuhrer logged a 400-meter hurdle time of 1:03.80, finishing first.
  • The 4x100-meter relay team of junior Sheldon Broyles, Fuhrer, senior Jordan Wallace, and Johnston finished second with a time of 46.12.
  • The 4x400-meter relay team of freshman James Muncie, Fuhrer, Skolosh, and McIntire took second with a final time of 3:55.64.

  • Wallace notched second in high jump with a mark of 1.80 meters.
  • Fulton secured second in triple jump with a leap of 11.18 meters.
  • Sophomore Robert Reicher took second in shot put with a toss of 15.28 meters.
  • Reicher also finished first in hammer toss with a distance of 48.83 meters.
  • Sophomore Kevin Dreyer rounded out the Muskie efforts finishing first in javelin with an impressive mark of 47.75 meters.

  • The Muskies next travel to Deleware, Ohio to participate in the All-Ohio Championships at Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday, April 13. Start time is slated for 10:00 a.m.
