The Muskingum men's track and field team competed at the Slippery Rock Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Slippery Rock, Pa.

In the Field
- Junior Jeffrey Burkholder led the Muskies claiming a third-place finish in the shot put with a toss of 15.37 meters.
- Burkholder also finished sixth in the discus with a throw of 38.50 meters.
- In the hammer throw, senior Andre Buffington finished sixth with a pitch of 42.01 meters.
- Sophomore Jordan Wallace finished 10th in the high jump with a leap of 1.75 meters.
- Junior Darrell Briggs finished 10th in the long jump with a distance of 6.06 meters.
On the Track
- Senior Anthony Kall finished fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:00.09.
- Briggs finished sixth in the 110-hurdles with a time of 16.73.
- In the 800-meter run, freshman John Soppanish finished seventh with a time of 2:04.88.
- Freshman Doug McIntire claimed an eighth place finish in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:45.98.
