The Muskingum men's outdoor track and field team placed seventh at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational on Saturday at the Johnson Family Track in McConagha Stadium.
The Basics
- Muskingum scored 56.50 points to finish seventh in the eight-team field.
- Case Western won the event with 169.50 points.
- The event was held at the Johnson Family Track in McConagha Stadium.
On the Track
- Junior Fred Stinson captured a seventh place finish in the 400-meter run with a time of 52.35.
- Sophomore Zachary Fuhrer finished seventh in the 400 hurdles in a time of 1:00.16.
- The 4x100-meter team of freshman Tristan Murphy, freshman Noah Lopez, Stinson and senior Desmond Waden finished seventh in a time of 45.26.
- The team of freshman Isaish Abel, senior Jimmy Glaze, Fuhrer and Derek Stover finished eighth in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 46.87.
- Stinson teamed up with junior Darrell Briggs, freshman John Soppanish and freshman Logan Skolosh to finish seventh in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:42.94.
- Senior Corey Dillon, freshman Dustin Hardesty, senior Anthony Kall and freshman Jacob McGee finished ninth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:51.17.
In the Field
- Junior Blake Weidner finished first in the high jump with a leap of 1.98 meters.
- Sophomore Jordan Wallace captured a second place finish in the high jump with a leap of 1.93 meters, while Briggs claimed a ninth place finish with a height of 1.63 meters.
- Junior Nick Despot captured a second place finish in the javelin throw with a pitch of 51.05 meters.
- In the hammer throw, senior Andre Buffington finished fourth with a distance of 45.95 meters.
- Freshman Gino Carey finished sixth in the javelin with a toss of 40.73 meters, while Fuhrer finished eighth with a distance of 38.15 meters and Briggs finished ninth with a pitch of 36.25 meters.
- Junior Jeffrey Burkholder claimed a fifth place finish in the discus with a pitch of 39.26 meters.
- Sophomore Wade Floyd finished eighth in the discus with a toss of 37.23 meters, while freshman Trevon Hannah finished tenth with a distance of 36.24 meters.
