Men’s Indoor Track and Field Competes at Case Western Reserve

Freshman Robert Reicher placed second, while four others registered third place finishes to lead the Muskingum men's indoor track and field team at the 5th Annual Case Western Reserve Spartan Holiday Classic on Saturday.

The Basics

  • Location: Cleveland, Ohio - Case Western Reserve University

On the Track

  • Junior Derek Stover finished third in the 60-meter hurdles with a 9.51 time.
  • The 4x200 meter relay team of Kamari Spencer, Tristan Murphy, Josh Case, and Devan Boyer placed third, finishing with a 1:35.70 time.
  • Fred Stinson claimed an eighth-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a 53.17 time.
  • Boyer took sixth-place in the 200-meter dash, finishing with a time of 24.26.
  • Stinson also competed in the 200-meter dash and finished right behind Boyer for a seventh-place finish (24.43 time).    

In the Field

  • Freshman Robert Reicher placed second in the shot put with a throw of 15.11 meters.
  • Senior Jeffrey Burkholder finished right behind Reicher with a third place finish, tossing 14.89 meters.
  • Senior Blake Weidner tied for third in the high jump with a mark of 1.82 meters.
  • Freshman Chris French notched eighth place in the triple jump with a distance of 10.39 meters.
