The Muskingum men's track and field team finished third at the Ohio Wesleyan Ron Althoff Classic on Friday, where senior Andre Buffington captured a first-place finish.

What Happened
- Senior Andre Buffington helped lead the Muskies with a first place finish in the weight throw with a pitch of 14.61 meters.
- Junior Jeffrey Burkholder took second in the shot put with a pitch of 13.86 meters.
- Freshman Logan Skolosh claimed a third place finish in the 500-meter dash in a time of 1:14.63.
- In the 60-meter hurdles, junior Darrell Briggs placed third in a time of 9.02.
- The 4x200-meter relay team of senior Desmond Waden, freshman Isaish Abel, freshman Noah Lopez and sophomore Devan Boyer finished third in a time of 1:41.36.
- Junior Fred Stinson, freshman Tristan Murphy, junior Derek Stover and freshman Cjai Harrison teamed up to take fourth in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:42.14.
- Freshman Doug McIntire claimed a fourth place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:09.51, while freshman John Soppanish finished fifth in a time of 2:09.96.
- The team of Stinson, McIntire, freshman Josh Weigand and senior Jimmy Glaze claimed fourth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:52.71.
- In the high jump, junior Blake Weidner took third clearing a height of 1.80 meters, while Briggs took fifth with a height of 1.70 meters.
- Weidner also recorded a fourth place finish in the long jump with a distance of 6.20 meters.
