Bridget Barrett is entering her second year at Muskingum as the head coach for the men’s and women’s tennis programs. She is the first coach to direct both programs since 2013.

In 2018, Barrett coached four players that were awarded with the prestigious ITA All-Academic Team Award.

Barrett comes to Muskingum a four-year letterwinner in women’s tennis at Davenport University where she achieved a combined total of 91 singles and doubles wins. Barrett’s achievements also include WHAC Conference tournament and regular-season champion, 2 time NAIA National Tournament qualifier, WHAC honorable mention of 2 years, and holds the 6^th best singles record in a season of 15-4.

While attending Davenport, Barrett served as the assistant coach at East Grand Rapids Middle School where she was responsible for developing the athlete’s fundamentals. Active within her community, Barrett volunteered her time as the JV assistant tennis coach at East Grand Rapids High School and led junior tennis development at Grand Rapids Public Schools. Lastly, Barrett interned as a director of tennis operations at In the Zone where she coached groups ranging from ages 3-55 and individuals with special needs.

Barrett graduated from Davenport in 2018 with a B.A. in business administration with a focus on human resource. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in sports administration from Wayne State University.
