Men's Tennis celebrates Senior Day

The Muskingum men's tennis team fell to Heidelberg on Senior Day, 7-2.

  • Location: Cambrige, Ohio
  • Records: Muskingum (0-15, 0-3 OAC), Heidleberg (2-4, 1-3 OAC)

  • Muskingum took an early lead after Patton and sophomore Armando DiMichaelangelo won 8-5 at first doubles against Kyle Alexander and Ryan Newman. 
  • Heidelberg came back and won the next two doubles matches.
  • In singles play, DiMichaelangelo stayed hot and won his match at first singles against Alexander 7-5, 6-3.
  • However, the Student Princes bested Muskingum in the last five singles matches en route to the road win.

  • Muskingum next competes at the Ohio Athletic Conference Lindner Tennis Fest in Mason, Ohio, on Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14. The Muskies will face Ohio Northern, Baldwin Wallace, and Marietta over the course of the two-day event.
