The Muskingum men's tennis team stumbled at Bethany on Friday afternoon, 9-0.
Bethany grabbed the early momentum by capturing first and second doubles by the score of 8-1. The Bison carried the surge through singles play to earn the home win.
In singles action, Muskingum senior Caleb Patton provided a charge for the Muskies in his third singles match. Patton dropped a hard-fought battle against Drake Berlin 7-6, 6-7, 5-0. Sophomore Armando DiMichaelangelo fell in a tight battle at first singles against Chris Ray 6-1, 6-4.
Muskingum next plays at Alma on Saturday, March 9. Game time is slated for 2:00 p.m.
