The Muskingum men's soccer team stumbled against the Otterbein Cardinals on Saturday, 5-1.

How It Happened
- Thanks to a strong defensive effort from the Muskies, the game was scoreless through the first half.
- Senior keeper Josh Routte led the defense with five saves before the break.
- Otterbein's Eric Stucky managed a goal at the start of the second half to put the Cardinals up 1-0.
- Kohei Adams added another score in the 61st minute.
- Muskingum had a spark of life when junior Drew Wise scored on a free kick that deflected off a defender in the 64th minute.
- Otterbein came back with three unanswered goals to secure a 5-1 edge.
- Freshman Bailey Adams led the Muskies with two shots.
- Routte played all 90 minutes in frame and made nine saves while allowing five goals.
- Andrew McIlvoy received the win in goal for Otterbein, making three saves and allowing one goal.
