Muskingum men's soccer halted by Wittenberg

The Muskingum men's soccer team fell to Wittenberg 2-0 at their first away game of the season.

How It Happened 

  • Wittenberg opened scoring in the 19th minute when junior Alberto Zaragoza fired a goal past the Muskies.
  • Freshman Evan Dinopoulos sealed the win with a goal assisted by freshman Will Stephens in the 38th minute.
  • Tiger goalie, Jack Snider logged one save during his 90-minutes in goal.
  • Zaragoza recorded six shots on goal, while sophomore Julian Gonzalez registered four.
  • Muskie goalie, Josh Routte registered eight saves in his 90-minutes between the pipes.
  • The Muskie offense was led by junior Blake Horne who registered one shot on goal.
