The Muskingum men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat at non-conference Washington & Jefferson Wednesday evening.

How It Happened

  • Paul Mokrzan collected the first goal for the Presidents off a free kick from 25 yards out, making it 1-0 at the 13-minute marker.
  • 10 minutes later, W&J's Garrett French shot through traffic to find the back of the net to extend the lead, 2-0.
  • Muskingum had an opportunity to score before the half, but Amier Salah shot went wide, leaving the score 2-0 at intermission.
  • Washington & Jefferson's Mokrzan gathered a loose ball inside the 18-yard box and spotted his teammate, Matt Prezioso, who shot from 20 yards out to gather the final goal, 3-0.
  • Goalkeeper Josh Routte played 45 minutes in the frame and notched eight saves.
  • Daniel Jennings added two saves and 45 minutes of action between the pipes.
  • Paul Mokrzan led the way offensively for the Presidents as he produced one goal and one assist.
  • W&J's goalkeeper's Nick Stasko saw 77 minutes in the frame and grabbed three saves, while Ian Donlon tallied 12-minutes of action.
