Men's Soccer suffers road setback

The Muskingum men's soccer team dropped a tough road battle to 3rd-ranked Kenyon on Wednesday evening. The Lords netted eight first-half goals to beat Muskingum.

  • Kenyon erupted for eight first-half goals to seize control of the contest. Tony Amolo led the Lords with a hat trick on four shots.
  • Will Bennett finished with two goals for Kenyon.
  • Senior Zach Schmauch led the attack for the Muskies with three shots.
  • Senior Nick Koch and sophomores Mitchell Corey and Amier Salah all added a strike.
  • Kenyon ended the outing with a 33-6 advantage in shots.

Between the Pipes

  • Sophomore Colin Federer played the opening half in frame making one save and surrendering eight goals. Junior Josh Routte played the second half for the Muskies making two saves.
  • Sam Clougher recorded his fifth win of the season in frame making two saves.
