Alec Chisholm named head coach for Men's Lacrosse

Muskingum University has announced that Alec Chisholm has been hired as head coach of the Muskie men's lacrosse program.

Chisholm came to New Concord after serving as the defensive coordinator and assistant coach for the Oberlin College men's lacrosse program. Chisholm joined the Yeoman squad in the winter of 2017 and assisted in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, player development, planning and developing practice sessions, game day management and administrative duties.

Prior to Oberlin, Chisholm served as the recruiting and defensive coordinator at NCAA Division II Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. While at Georgian Court, Chisholm was responsible for all aspects of the men's lacrosse program, including the development of off-season and in-season weight training, player development and recruiting.

Before going to Georgian Court, Chisholm spent five seasons in the similar capacities at Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey. While there, Chisholm coached 17 Skyline All-Conference selections and helped the squad set numerous school records. In 2015 the Ospreys finished with the lowest goals against average in school history (7.74), while leading the Skyline Conference with 9.74 caused turnovers per game.

In 2014 and in 2015, Stockton won 13 games, which is a school-record for wins in a season. The Ospreys also reached the Skyline championship finals for the first time in school history in 2015.

Chisholm graduated from Stockton University in 2012 with a B.A. in business studies. He was a four-year letterwinner and a second team All-Skyline selection, appearing in 42 career games.
