Men's lacrosse stumbles at John Carroll

The Muskingum men's lacrosse team suffered a 24-3 setback in Ohio Athletic Conference play at John Carroll on Friday.

The Blue Streaks scored the first 10 goals of the game over the opening 17 minutes of play to take control. John Carroll rode the early momentum to a 14-1 halftime advantage.

Sophomore Jake Stewart led the Muskies with two goals, while sophomore Ryan Stacey added one. Muskingum ended the outing with 15 shots. 

Junior keeper Phillip Dappen played all 60 minutes in frame and made 11 saves.

John Carroll was paced by Michael Hubert who scored four goals and by Patrick O'Grady who had three goals and two assists. John Carroll ended the game with 69 shots.

Muskingum next hosts Mount Union on Saturday, April 22. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
