The Muskingum men's golf team finished the Mount Union Invite in sixth place on Sunday evening.
The Basics
- The event took place at the Tannenhauf Golf Course.
- As a team, the Muskies shot a combined team score of 665 (325-340) over the two-day event.
On The Course
- The Muskies were led by junior Brenton Franks who finished tied for 13th, out of 49 players, shooting a 153 (74-79).
- Senior Thomas Green finished tied for 36th, shooting a 164 (78-86).
- Freshman Chase Karling finished 44th, shooting a 174 (88-86).
- Freshman Lucas Huston finished tied for 46th, shooting a 176 (87-89).
- Freshman Jonah Hanes finished tied for 46th, shooting a 176 (86-90).
- Mount Union won the event with combined team score of 592 (291-301).
- Matt Eddins of Mount Union was the top golfer and medalist winner with a score of 140 (67-73).
What's Next
- The Muskingum men's golf team next competes at the OAC Preview on Saturday, October 5. The event is set to take place at the River Greens Golf Course.
