The Muskingum men's golf team finished fifth at the John Carroll Coach John DiCillo Tournament on Monday.
The Basics
- The invitational took place in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
- As a team, Muskingum shot a 328 during the event.
- It was a par 70 course and 6,721 yards long.
On the Course
- Sophomore Brenton Franks tied for seventh-place in the 53-player field with a 77.
- Senior Josh Blaustein played as an individual and tied for 10th place, shooting a 78.
- Senior Christian Taylor tied for 23rd place with an 82.
- Senior Gordie German shot an 83 to finish tied for 30th.
- Junior Thomas Green carded an 86 and tied for 34th.
- Senior Derek Crum finished the Muskie scoring with an 89 and tied for 43rd.
- John Carroll captured first place after scoring a combined team total of 305.
- Matt Eddins from Mount Union won medalist honors after shooting three-over-par with a 73.
