Men's golf places sixth at OAC Spring Invitational

The Muskingum men's golf team finished sixth in the nine-team field of the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Invitational hosted by Otterbein on Friday-Saturday.

On the Course

  • Muskingum shot a 645 (325-320), while team winner Otterbein shot a 613 (303-310).
  • Senior Jacob Van Leeuwen led the Muskies with a 154 (79-75) to finish tied for fifth in the 63-golfer field.
  • Sophomore Thomas Green finished tied for 25th with a 163 (86-77).
  • Junior Josh Blaustein tied for 36th with a 164 (80-84).
  • Junior Gordie German finished tied for 40th with a 165 (81-84).
  • Junior Christian Taylor rounded out the Muskie scoring with a 172 (85-87) to finish tied for 51st.
  • Austin Wells won medalist honors with a 149 (75-74).
  • The event was held at Northstar Golf Club in Sunbury, Ohio.
