The Muskingum men's golf team placed second at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational two-day event held at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial Country Club on Sunday-Monday.
On the Course
- Muskingum shot a 663 (323-340), while team winner Washington & Jefferson shot a 617 (307-310).
- Junior Josh Blaustein led the Muskies with a seventh-place finish in the 14-player field with a 162 (82-80).
- Junior Derek Crum claimed a ninth-place finish shooting a 165 (80-85).
- Junior Gordie German placed 10th shooting a 167 (81-86).
- Senior Jacob Van Leeuwen tallied a 12th-place finish with a score of 169 (80-89).
- Sophomore Thomas Green shot a 178 (87-91) to round out the Muskie scoring.
- Sophomore Nathaniel Bennett competed as an individual and shot 168 (88-80).
- Elar Velasco from Washington & Jefferson won medalist honors after shooting a 149 (76-73).
