The Muskingum men's golf team finished seventh in the 10-team field at the Ohio Northern Spring Invitational on Saturday-Sunday.
The Basics
- Muskingum shot a two-day total of 632 (316-316).
- The invitational was played at the Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod, Ohio.
- The course was a par 71.
- Ohio Northern hosted the event.
On the Course
- Sophomore Gordie German led the Muskies with a 153 (79-74) to finish tied for 11th in the 54-golfer field.
- Sophomore Derek Crum finished tied for 24th with a 159 (80-79).
- Senior Luke Janci shot a 161 (78-83) to finish tied for 31st.
- Senior Matt Peacock shot a 164 (84-80) to finish tied for 38th.
- Junior Jacob Van Leeuwen rounded out the Muskie team scoring with a 165 (79-85) to finish tied for 40th.
- Tiffin won the team title with a 595 (298-297).
- Brandon Hoelzer of Lourdes University won medalist honors with a 143 (70-73).
