The Muskingum men's golf team finished third at the Muskingum Fall Invitational held EagleSticks G.C. Friday-Saturday.
The Basics
- Muskingum shot a two-day total of 617 (305-312).
- The invitational was played at EagleSticks Golf Club.
- The course was a par 70 and 6,508 yards long.
- Muskingum hosted the event.
On The Course
- Senior Austin Wilkinson led the Muskies with a 145 (72-73) to finish third in the 35-golfer field. He ranked third in par 3 scoring, fourth in par 4 scoring and third in par 5 scoring at two-under.
- Senior Luke Janci shot 150 (75-75) to finish fourth. He led the tournament with two eagles and finished second in par 4 scoring.
- Junior Jacob Van Leeuwen carded a 157 (76-81) to finish tied for 12th. He was tied for sixth in par 3 scoring.
- Sophomore Andy Cornell shot a 166 (82-84) to finish tied for 23rd.
- Freshman Nathaniel Bennett rounded out the Muskie scoring with a 168 (85-83) to finish tied for 25th.
- Sophomore Gordie German led the Muskie individual players with a 155 (78-77) to finish tied for seventh. He was second in total pars for the tournament with 23 and fifth in par 4 scoring.
- Derek Crum placed second among Muskie individual players with a 161 (77-84) to finish tied for 16th.
- Muskingum ended the two-day event ranked second in par 3 scoring, third in par 4 scoring and third in par 5 scoring.
- Washington & Jefferson won the team title with a 604 (303-301). W&J's Jake Darr won medalist honors with a one-under par 139 (68-71).
