Men's Golf finishes 8th overall at the OAC Fall Invitational

The Muskingum men's golf team finished 8th overall at the Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Invitational Sunday-Monday hosted by Heidelberg University at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club. 

The Basics

  • Muskingum shot a two-day total of 621 (303-318).
  • The invite was played at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club.
  • The course was a par 72 and 6,705 yards long.
  • Heidelberg University hosted the event.

On the Course

  • Senior Austin Wilkinson led the Muskies claiming a 14th place finish with a 151 (75-76).
  • Senior Luke Janci finished tied for 30th with a two-day total of 155 (76-79).
  • Junior Jacob Van Leeuwen finished tied for 34th with a 156 (75-81).
  • Freshman Nathaniel Bennett shot a two-day total of 160 (78-82) finishing tied for 46th.
  • Sophomore Gordie German rounded out the Muskie field with a 164 (77-87).
  • Sophomore Andy Cornell competed as an individual finishing tied for 4th with a 147 (73-74).
  • Otterbein won the team title with a 590 (293-297).
  • John Schnur of John Carroll won medalist honors with a 140 (71-69).
