The Muskingum men's golf team placed seventh at the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Invitational on Thursday.
The Basics
- Muskingum shot a one-day, 27-hole total 478.
- The invitational was played at The Country Club of Hudson.
- The course was a par 72 and 6,725 yards long.
- John Carroll hosted the event.
- Ohio Northern won the team title with a 446.
- Mount Union's Buster Thomas won medalist honors with a 106.
On The Course
- Junior Luke Janci led the Muskies with a 117. He finished tied for 21st in the 48-golfer field.
- Sophomore Jacob Van Leeuwen finished tied for 22nd with a 118.
- Junior Austin Wilkinson finished tied for 36th with a 122.
- Freshman Christian Taylor also finished tied 36th with a 122.
- Freshman Gordie German rounded out the Muskie scoring with a 130. He finished tied for 47th.
- Junior Jacob Miller played as an individual and finished 43rd with a 125.
