Men’s Bowling secures Welcome Back Tournament Championship

Behind junior Ethan McDonald's 2nd-place finish, the Muskingum Men's Bowling team secured a first-place finish out of a nine-team field at the Welcome Back Tournament over the weekend in Columbus, Ohio.

 Notables

  • The Tournament marked the season-opener for Muskingum.
  • Junior Ethan McDonald, and Sophomore Evan Thro earned All-Tournament Team for their exceptional play over the tournament.
  • The Muskies won the tournament with a team total of 9391.

Ethan McDonald carded a nine-game tournament perfomance of (193-183-245-216-189-247-265-207-236) to average 220.1 per game.

Evan Thro placed fourth with a nine-game tournament perfomance of (193-276-174-209-201-267-182-190-232) averaging 213.8 per game.

Freshman Brody Wildenmann finished with a 216.3 average to secure a 13th place finish, while freshman Brayden Speck averaged 191.6 to place 14 th to round out the Muskie effort.

Muskingum returns to action on Saturday, October 1, at an Ohio Bowling Conference event in Columbus, Ohio.
