Masinelli named to All-OAC Second Team

The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced senior guard Alex Masinelli was named to the All-OAC Second Team for his outstanding 2021-22 season.

Masinelli followed up his All-OAC performance last season with another breakout campaign this year. This season, Masinelli averaged career-highs in points with 21.5, rebounds with 7.3, and assists with 3.5; all while shooting 49.2% from the field and 33.0% from three-point range. 

Along with the All-OAC selection, Masinelli has compiled numerous accolades for his play this season. These accolades include two OAC Player of the Week selections, tournament MVP of the E.M. "Mose" Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Tournament, a D3hoops.com Team of the Week selection for his career-high 43-point performance versus Lynchburg, and a selection to the 2022 College Basketball All-Star Game held at Nationwide Arena. Masinelli ends his Muskie career with 941 points, 404 rebounds, and 178 assists.
