The Muskingum men's basketball team hosts Wilmington on Wednesday, January 10 at 7:00 p.m. and will visit Ohio Northern on Saturday, January 13 for a 2:00 p.m. matchup.

  • The Muskingum men's basketball team captured their fourth Ohio Athletic Conference victory at Heidelberg on Saturday evening, 90-83. Sophomore Marcus Dempsey paced the Muskies offense with 29 points on 11-of-18 shooting, which included hitting 3-of-4 from the arc. He also added seven rebounds and four assists. Junior Devon Peart finished with a career-high 22 points, hitting 10-of-18 from the field, while chipping in three steals and two assists.
  • The Muskies are sixth in the OAC standings with a 4-2 record.
  • Dempsey is ranked first in the conference and third in Division III in points per game (28.8). He is making 51.1% of his shots from the field (135-of-264) and 42.9% from the arc (42-of-98). He has scored 30 plus points in six games this season.
