Ethan Wetzel enters his third season on the Muskie staff and currently serves as the interim head coach and defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.

Wetzel, a 2012 Muskingum graduate with a B.A. in English, arrives back in New Concord after serving two years as a graduate assistant coach at Otterbein.

As a Muskie, Wetzel was a three-year starter at outside linebacker, finishing with 203 tackles and 7.5 pass sacks in his career. He was a three-time Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week honoree and earned Second Team All-OAC honors in 2011.
