Isiah Dunning is entering his first season as defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator for Muskingum. 

Dunning arrives in New Concord after serving as defensive line coach in 2020 at Notre Dame College. Notre Dame is an NCAA Division II school in Ohio.

Before Notre Dame, Dunning was the defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator for Saginaw Valley State University. At Saginaw Valley, Dunning coordinated the offensive scout team meetings, maintained and updated the recruiting database, and organized recruiting events. He coached Heath Williams to All-American and Defensive Lineman of the Year honors.

Dunning was a graduate assistant at Miami University (Ohio). Dunning spent two seasons at Miami coaching the defensive line. While on campus, Dunning helped break down the opponent's run game and pass protection. He coordinated offensive scout team meetings and assisted with all functions surrounding recruiting. The Redhawks recorded 29 sacks in 2018 and had one all-conference selection in Doug Costin. The year prior, Ikeem Allen was tabbed all-league.
 
Dunning has professional experiences with the Dallas Cowboys (2015 Mini-Camp), the Cleveland Gladiators (AFL – 2016), and the Bismarck Bucks (CIF – 2017).
 
A four-year varsity letterwinner at Grand Valley State, Dunning was named Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2013 and was a pre-season All-American in 2014. The team captain earned all-conference honors and earned the Philip Shultz Leadership Award. Dunning received his Bachelor of Science degree in physical education with an emphasis on sport leadership.
