Title: Assistant Offensive Line Coach

Kevin Gunn is entering his third season as an assistant offensive line coach for the Muskingum University football program.

Prior to bringing his talents to Muskingum, Gunn served as the head football coach for Cambridge High School. While at Cambridge, Gunn guided the Bobcats to their first OHSAA playoff appearance in a decade and earned the opportunity to coach the 2016 OVAC All-Star game and the 2017 North/South All-Star game. He finished his career at Cambridge being named the East District D-IV Coach of the Year for the 2016 season.

Gunn also held the following positions at Cambridge during his tenure: offensive coordinator, offensive/defensive line coach, track assistant coach and throws coach, and wrestling assistant coach. While in these roles, Gunn taught athletes relevant skills, tactics, and techniques, while also advising them about health and lifestyle issues. Gunn focused on identifying the athlete’s strengths and weaknesses and developing training programs that suited their specific needs.

Gunn graduated from Muskingum University in 1989 with a B.A. in history. Then earned his M.A. in education from Muskingum in 2002.
