Muskingum University Head Football Coach Erik Ieuter has announced the hiring of Edward Reny as the new offensive line coach for the Muskie football program.
Reny arrives in New Concord after serving the past season as the tight ends coach at Valparaiso University.
He is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan (B.A. in marketing and M.B.A in marketing and sports and entertainment management), where he played offensive line for the Warriors and was a four-year letterwinner for the football program. Reny was a three-year GLIAC All-Academic Team member and played in 32 games over his four seasons at Wayne State.
Reny also served as a graduate assistant for two years at Wayne State coaching the offensive line and tight ends where he helped mentor two First-Team All-GLIAC selections along with the WSU Offensive Rookie of the Year.
