Hahn, Ousley, Johnson, and Keneah named football captains

Muskingum head football coach Erik Ieuter has announced the selection of the captains for the 2019 season. Junior quarterback Brody Hahn, senior defensive lineman Tim Ousley, senior running back Bernard Johnson, and senior linebacker Trocon Keneah will lead the Muskies for the upcoming fall campaign.

Hahn, now a two-time captain for the Muskies, led the offense last season passing for 1,453 yards and eight touchdowns, rushed for 551 yards and eight touchdowns, and averaged 200 yards of offense per game. Hahn was also honored with Academic All-OAC accolades last season.

Ousley was the leader of the defense last season notching a career-high in tackles with 67 and sacks with 6.5, while also accounting 17 tackles for loss and forcing three fumbles. Ousley received First Team All-OAC accolades and was named Second Team All-Region last season.

Johnson is returning this season ready to lead the rushing attack for the Muskie offense. Over his career, Johnson has rushed for 516 yards and seven touchdowns and has also caught two touchdowns.

Keneah played in eight games last season accounting for 19 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss and is set to help lead the defense this season.

Muskingum will open the 2019 season at home vs. Waynesburg on Saturday, September 7. Kick-off is set for 1:30 p.m.
