Football celebrates Senior Day against Mount Union

The Muskingum football team celebrated Senior Day against top-ranked Mount Union on Saturday in McConagha Stadium. The Ohio Athletic Conference clash saw the Purple Raiders hand the Muskies a 44-0 setback.

Halftime Recognition

  • At halftime, Muskingum honored veteran football assistant coach Jim Kaser. Kaser, a 1974 Muskingum graduate, will retire at the end of the season. His coaching career has span five decades, including the last 18 years at Muskingum. During his tenure, Coach Kaser has mentored, coached and taught life skills to thousands of student-athletes.

  • Mount Union jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and took a 28-0 advantage into the break.
  • The Purple Raiders completed the scoring with nine points in the third quarter and seven points in the final frame.
