The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum senior punter Samuel Green the OAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week.

Green's outstanding play helped the Muskies win the field possession battle and the game at Waynesburg.

The senior averaged 40.9 yards per punt and placed two punts inside the 20. His longest of the contest came in the fourth quarter when he delivered a 53-yard punt that landed inside the Waynesburg 30.

The Muskies return to action Saturday, September 17 in their home opener with Capital at Sherman Field in McConagha Stadium. Game time is slated for 7:00 pm.
