Esports Begins ECAC Playoffs

Muskingum Esports looks to bring home more championship hardware as they compete in the 2022 spring ECAC playoffs.

Tuesday, April 5 – The Muskingum Valorant team concluded their season on Tuesday with a 2-0 loss to Bryant University. The Muskies dropped game one 13-2, and fell in game two 13-5.

Thursday, April 7 – Madden Atkins fell 2-0 versus Randolph Macon in the opening round of the ECAC playoffs on Thursday night. Atkins fell 21-14 in game on, and dropped game two 24-22.

The Muskingum Halo team defeated California State University – Monterey Bay 3-0 to earn an opening round ECAC playoff victory. The Muskies claimed game one 50-40, game two 200-56, and secured the match with a 4-2 game three win.

Saturday, April 9 – After an opening round bye, Madden Crawford and Madden Hively earned victories to move into the ECAC quarterfinals. Madden Crawford defeated Moravian 2-0, while Madden Hively defeated Cumberland 2-1.

Muskingum's Rainbow Six Siege team also picked up a victory on Thursday after receiving an opening round bye. The Muskies defeated New York Tech 2-1 to move into the ECAC quarterfinals.
