Jacob Krupar is entering his third year on the Muskingum baseball staff as an assistant coach.

For Muskingum, he is responsible for coaching the Muskie batters and outfielders while also serving as the recruiting coordinator and assist in player development, practices, and camps. 

In an 11-game COVID-19 shortened season, Muskie batters were hitting .309 with a total of 38 extra base hits and posting a .464 SLG %.

In 2019, Brett Carson was named to All-OAC Honorable-Mention accolades as a freshman, hitting .319, driving in 27 runs with an OBP of .421.

Before arriving at Muskingum, Krupar served as an assistant coach at Baldwin Wallace University. While at Baldwin Wallace,  helped coach Dudley Taw (ABCA All-American, All-OAC First Team), Alex Marcum (All-OAC First Team), Chase Knodle (All-OAC Second Team), Trent Kaltenbach (All-OAC Honorable Mention) and Spencer Badia (Google Cloud Academic All-American of the Year). Helped coach team that won the conference tournament and made a regional. He assisted in practices, recruiting, and coached the JV team. His duties also included: coaching outfielders, assisting with hitters, assisting with camps, and player development. Krupar also worked as an assistant coach with the Stark County Terriers Baseball team. In this role, he coached first and third base, outfield, and hitting.

Krupar also worked as an assistant coach with the Stark County Terriers Collegiate Baseball team in the summer of 2017. In this role, he coached first and third base, outfield, and hitting.

Prior to coaching, Krupar was a four-year baseball letterwinner at the University of Toledo. While at Toledo, Krupar earned baseball Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors in 2017 and the Scholar Baller Award from 2014-2017. Furthermore, Krupar worked within operations in Toledo’s athletic department where he assisted in maintaining the athletic facilities.

Krupar graduated from Toledo in 2017 with a B.S. in criminal justice and completed his M.A.E in adult education at Muskingum in 2020.
