Muskingum University is always accepting nominations for inductees into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Inductions occur during Homecoming Weekend in the fall at the annual M-Club Breakfast. All nominations are reviewed and considered by the Muskingum Hall of Fame Committee.

To qualify, former Muskie athletes must have earned at least two letters in one sport or one letter in two sports. If a female athlete competed before letters were awarded, their outstanding accomplishments or their records in athletics will be considered. Muskingum coaches or athletic administrators must have lettered in a sport while a student or must have been a member of the Muskingum staff for at least 10 years. In addition, Athletic Hall of Fame candidates must have graduated at least 10 years prior to selection, and a coach or administrator must be retired or no longer employed by Muskingum University. Deceased alumni may be nominated according to the above standards.

Nominations that are not selected, will automatically be reconsidered the following year - there is no limit to the number of times an individual may be nominated or considered.
